Bunnies & Body Treats

Happy Easter!! The much anticipated holiday is here. I hope everyone is indulging in chocolate treats as much as I am.

I always look forward to the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, as it is a good time to relax. I picked up a few products from The Body Shop to help me do just that.

                                                                                               The Body Shop Chocomania range

                                                                                              The Body Shop Chocomania range

The Chocomania range smells amazing and for chocolate lovers such as myself there is nothing better than to smell like chocolate every day!

Top left - Coconut cream Body Scrub 200ml. I've been using this scrub for a little while now and I would definitely recommend it. The scrub exfoliates and removes all dead skin, leaving my skin feeling so soft. It also smells delicious.

Middle - Chocomania Sugar Body Scrub 200ml. This is another scrub which I have purchased recently. It literally looks like a chocolate mousse! I really like that it's a sugar scrub as it's so natural. I haven't used it as much as the coconut scrub above but I have found it to exfoliate just as well.

Bottom right - Deluxe Edition Body Butter 50ml. The body butter is perfect to use alongside the exfoliating scrubs. It rubs on effortlessly into my skin leaving it with a smooth finish.

Top Right- Chocomania Body Lotion 250 ml. The lotion contains cocoa butter which is known for its many benefits to the skin. I found this product moisturised my skin thoroughly without leaving it greasy or oily.

Bottom Left- Lip Butter 10ml. I love the Body Shop lip balms. The honeymania lip balm is my favourite but this one is definitely a competitor. I prefer to use it just before bed, and it leaves my lips feeling super soft in the morning.

Lush

Lush is a handmade cosmetic store that I frequently visit as their products are natural and beneficial. These are some of the products I picked up on my last visit.

Curly Wurly Coconut shampoo - Although this says it is for curly hair, I've had great results with my hair, which is more on the wavy side. I would recommend the shampoo because it leaves my hair feeling fresh, healthy and revived. The benefit of this product is that it contains a natural source of coconuts which I will discuss further in an upcoming blog! I found that it did not lather up as much as expected but it still did the trick for me. Due to the texture of the product, it left some bits of coconut in my hair, but these were easily brushed out.

Enzymion Facial Moisturiser - I wanted to try this moisturiser because my skin tends to be on the oily side. I currently use the body shop seaweed moisturiser which worked like magic for me, but I was interested in trying something new so I gave this one a go. It smells really funky and I particularly liked that it does not leave my skin feeling greasy. I also only use a minimal amount as it spreads on with ease.

Latte Lip tint - I brought this as I'm a big fan of coffee. I was expecting it to smell and taste like a latte, but to be honest I was left disappointed. I did not find the product to smell like coffee and the colour was not a good match for my skin complexion. I don't think I'll be buying it again.

Popcorn Lip Scrub - This is my favourite! It comes in a little handy pot, so I can carry it with me at all times. I think it's really efficient at removing dead skin cells from the lips, making them soft and plump. I love that it smells of candy and the all natural ingredients are a bonus. I've heard great things about the mint flavoured lip scrub so I'll try that one next to see how it compares.

Look out for my next outfit post which should be up on the blog on Tuesday!

Enjoy the rest of the Easter break.

Until Next time,

-Nikita
