I thought this Friday I would share my five make-up essentials. I do use more products but if I had to pick five to survive with on a daily basis, these would be my top five.
1. My Mac Foundation. This one is the Matchmaster foundation with SPF 15 in shade 3.0.
I have been using Mac foundation for as long as I can remember. I love how light and easy it is to apply and the overall finish. It gives me good coverage without feeling caked on.
2. Mac Powder blush - Matte in shade Mocha
I always need to add a hint of colour to my cheeks. Mocha is one of my favourite blushers. I also use a few Benefit blushers which I will be posting about soon.
3. Benefit Badgal Waterproof Mascara
I started using this Mascara about 6 months ago, and it is by far the best mascara I have used. I will definitely be picking up another one soon.
4. Benefit Badgal Eyeliner with brush
Finding a good eyeliner has always been very frustrating. I would always walk into boots and superdrug and pick up a kohl eyeliner to find that it does not apply well at all. The Benefit extra black liner works wonders. It applies really well and the colour is a bold black. The brush on the other end is also very handy when trying to create that smoky look.
5. Real Techniques Core Collection
This real techniques set consists of a contour brush, pointed foundation brush, detailer brush and a buffing brush. Make-up brushes make life so much easier, the worst thing is cleaning the brushes which I find such a chore, but has to be done. After a good clean, the brushes are still in very good condition.
These were my top five make-up essentials! What would you pick?
Look out for my next outfit post which should be up in a couple days.
Have a lovely weekend!
